Sister Bridget, from Detroit, Michigan, entered Maryknoll in 1951.  She earned a B.S. in Education from Mary Rogers College in Maryknoll, NY.

Sister Bridget went to Tanzania in 1956. While she was there she learned the language; she spent nine years in catechist training programs, home visiting, and teaching.  She returned to the United States in 1965 and earned an M.A. in Theology from Maryknoll School of Theology in New York.

Sister Bridget was assigned to the Philippine Region in 1971, and for five years she gave courses and workshops to Sisters in Maryknoll College, the Sisters’ Formation Institute and the University of the East.

Then, Sister Bridget and Sister Gloria Pandjiris were invited by the Association for Women Religious to go to Port Elizabeth, South Africa.  From 1982-1987, the Sisters served on the faculty of Maryville Center of Spirituality for Mission.  They also opened a one-year residence program for renewal of African Sisters, which helped the Sisters in their personal and faith development.

Sister Bridget returned to the United States in 1988 and lived in New Mexico.  In Alamogordo, NM she taught Scripture, trained catechists, gave retreats, helped with leadership formation, and ministered to the sick and elderly.

Sister Bridget moved to Chandler, Arizona in 1994.  She worked in St. Andrew the Apostle parish and was a Nullity Minister and advocate in the marriage annulment process.  In addition to processing all annulments in the parish, she provided spiritual direction in two parishes.  In 2008, she completed a graduate program from Creighton University and has a certificate in spiritual direction and directs retreats.

Sister Bridget is now retired but continues to live in Chandler, Arizona and helps in the parish as much as possible.
