Lent is a time for reflection

Lent is a time when we reflect upon the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for our salvation, and examine our souls and our lives to see how we can make ourselves more worthy of that great gift.

This booklet presents a scripture quote for each day of Lent, which you can use to help guide your reflections and prayers during this time. On each Sunday, when we raise our eyes from our penance and look forward to the miracle of Christ’s Resurrection, there is a quote relating to our joy and gratitude in the Easter miracle.
